Murbach
Murbach
Murbach is an abbey, founded in the 8th century by monks directly linked to the heritage of Celtic Christianity, a vestige located in the hollow of a valley not far from Guebwiller in Alsace. In poetic form, Luc Bussière describes what inspires him in this building whose stones still “scream” astonishing alliances, but fruitful and relevant for today: adoration and formation, reason and revelation, Worship and culture, Creator and creation, mission and transmission. Reminder of the vocation of the Church today in its call to teach the nations. Each stanza is illustrated with photos of the abbey, taken by David Leigh and the author.
